Riverside bar, beautifully restored dining room, enchanting garden
Cleanliness left much to be desired!!! Cobwebs and visible dust in rooms detracted from the overall experience!!! A few facilities were closed during peak hours, leaving guests with limited options!!!

the warm welcome of the staff and their help throughout my stay; the food was excellent and served attractively.
the hotel board needs painting, the grass at the back needs cutting. there were two tiles of my room in the shower room, there was no towel rail to hang towels in the shower room

Good breakfast.
Poor room qualitiy. We had no hot water in our shower and the friends that traveled with us had no washing facilties at all working in their room. Would not recomend.

didn't like having to phone someone to be let in to the hotel. No offer of any food or drink after 3.5 hour journey to get there. Didn't like having no staff on sight during night and only one other guest in hotel. Alarm system going off at 4.15 in morning and having to phone offsite to get someone over to sort it out.

I recommend it for couples seeking a serene getaway
Had the Sunday roast here, and let me tell you, it's possibly the best roast I've ever had 😋 Every bite was flavorful and perfectly cooked, like a symphony of taste! The staff made sure we were taken care of throughout, refilling our drinks and just being genuinely attentive.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but you get what you pay for, right?

It is small and has quite a unique feel to it. Each room is differently designed and fits in with the style of a small country house.

The building was quirky and unspoiled - it had great character - most owners would have overmodernised it.The food was excellent - brilliant value evening meals. Breakfast set us up for the day. Staff very friendly & helpful.Reason for visit was to attend the Morgan Cars gathering at Newmarket, Worlington is a great centre for touring the area. Our one regret is that we were not able to stay for longer.

The interior design and ambiance blew us away. We visited a local vineyard and an art gallery nearby, a blast. Service was great, especially at breakfast, where Caitlin made sure we were well taken care of. Don't miss the delicious sandwiches on the terrace. They were delightfully presented!
Unfortunately, the waiting time for dinner was quite lengthy, which put a slight damper on our evening.
